THREE SYSTEMS IN ONE:
Infrared Transmission
Program the TBOS-II Field Transmitter in the same way as other Rain Bird control units. Then transfer the program via infrared to the TBOS or TBOS-II Control Modules.
Radio Transmission
The concept is the same. The only difference is that the program is transmitted by radio waves. TBOS-II Radio Adapter is installed in all TBOS and TBOS-II Control Modules and program transmission is done via radio waves. This radio version was developed as an anti-vandal system to prevent vandals from locating control units or valves. You can send or monitor watering programs without opening the valve box.
Do you want a longer distance?
A TBOS Radio Relay can be added between the Field Transmitter and the Radio Adapter to extend the radio transmission distance. The TBOS Radio relay will act as a repeater and carry the information beyond the radio range of the Field Transmitter.
Remote Transmission
The new TBOS-II System allows remote central control of Control Modules (TBOS or TBOS-II) via radio communication (free ISM band). All you need is an IQ Satellite equipped with an IQ TBOS Mother Radio Module (ESP-LXD or ESP-LXME)
Build your own radio network using IQ TBOS Host Radio Modules and up to 15 TBOS Radio Relays.
When centralized in the IQ Cloud Platform software, TBOS Control Modules can take advantage of IQ’s functions and all flow sensing capabilities.
IQ Cloud Platform software is the first modular Central Control System that enables the centralization of traditional wired 24V Control Units (ESp-LXME), Decoder Control devices (ESP-LXD) and battery-operated control units (TBOS or TBOS-II) in the same software.
