BKV Hydraulic Control Valves are automatic control valves designed to control pressure, flow and water level.
These line pressure valves are used in various control applications of agricultural irrigation, water supply, fire fighting, and industrial systems.
General Features
The leak-proof valve ensures complete sealing thanks to the rubber membrane.
An open valve provides minimum pressure drop and unobstructed flow at the desired opening. The diaphragm is the only piece that controls opening and closing
array and modulation position.
The valve can be controlled by a line pressure or an external pressure source. The valve has no rotting shaft, bearing or gasket.
Working principle
Three-port selector valve connected to the valve:
Closed position: The valve is closed by applying pressure to the diaphragm and allowing flow through the inlet port or an external pressure supply actuator.
Open position: When there is no trapped pressure in the valve setting element
when released, the internal pressure is increased by moving the membrane upwards and the valve opens, allowing flow without blockage.
Modulating Position: The actuator balances the inflow and outflow to keep the membrane in a constant position.
Control with a pilot valve on a valve:
Open position: When the pilot valve is fully opened, the pressure trapped inside the actuator increases the pressure in the diaphragm and the valve opens.
Closed Position: Pilot valve in set position, actuator
will balance incoming and outgoing pressure and flow
thus the membrane remains in a stable position
